Step by Step Blonding Hair, Bleaching Hair Basics
The first thing to look at is obviously true, what color your hair is to begin with. You see, the lighter your hair in the first place is easy to dye it blond. There is less color pigment to disarm themselves, so the products have an easier time working on the hair.
If your hair is REALLY dark, natural or not, then you can face the uphill battle will be blonde. I must be honest and recommend that if you are really dark, then you find this adivce. You do not want to damage your hair completely.
Also caution should be told if you just dyed your hair red. Again, be careful and it is advisable to wait at least a month after that if you are considering bleaching your hair.
So you see, only occasionally are the advantages of being boring mousy brown color. On the other hand, if your hair is dark blond color you can go with a special dye to brighten blonde hair only. Schwarzkopf perform a variety of colors 'Nordic' and several other similar brands, so you might be better to give this a go.
Condition?
Ideally, your hair must be in good condition before starting the 'going blonde' route. If you even vaguely remember is the time to start taking extra special care of your hair BEFORE you slap on the dye.
Start paying attention to the key people of your lackluster first to try and reduce the damage that occurred afterward. One thing to remember is that if you have had a chemical treatment for the hair (ie perm / casual) wait several weeks before trying this and be very careful because your hair will be very vulnerable to damage. Bleaching your hair will ALWAYS can damage the hair so if your hair is in poor condition to begin with, apply the bleach out of it is not a recipe for smooth shiny hair. Saying all that, my hair has been highlighted a few weeks before during the previous brown permanent dyeso that the the hair does not have to ' untouched'virgin ' in'condition ,although that would help . I though, always kept my hair pretty good and my conditions religously, so maybe thats why I get away with horror stories in the last page of the relatively mild? Just use common sense.
Pre-lightener ..... You WILL need one of these!
Go blonde for most of us ARE NOT ONE STEP PROCESS. If your hair is something that is darker than dark blonde then you will need a pre-lightener. L'Oreal Superblonde is one example, but all the major brands have them with different names.
Their function is to do one thing only, to disarm all the existing pigment out of your hair so you are left with a kind of 'empty pallette'. This theoretically means you can put any shade of blonde on top. Too many people make the assumption that this is a dye in itself and that the color of the leaf is 'blonde' color they have to live with.
PRE-lighteners USED ONLY TO STRIP OFF YOUR HAIR COLOR. YOU MUST HAVE DYE IN THE SHADE OF ANOTHER blonde YOU WANT READY FOR afterwards. This is called 'dual process' hair. It is important to remember to use pre-lightener is that you do not want to miss the obvious 'patchy' areas darker or more red than others. You aim for a nice even base for your blonde color and base color is evenly distributed evenly as a whole.
'color' where the blonde to be used after pre-lightening?
Its personal preference really. There are a lot of debate about the skintones' cool 'and' warm 'and I think it is safe to say that someone with very fair skin that will suit a more' whiteish 'someone blond and that the tone is more' olive 'may suit a more' honey 'blond ..... but many of us are a mixture of switching something two and eye color vary widely, well, it's hard to put down the rules hard and fast on it. If you use a semi-permanent dyes after that, I would wholeheartedly recommend this, then your choices are not limited to experiment with different shades of blonde, so you can play around with them and see what fits. Then if you decide to put a permanent dye you know exactly what shade you want.
Nuance goes all the way round from the 'platinum' the whitest blond like Marilyn Monroe, for a warmer color and 'gold' is Rachel Hunter, for 'strawberry' blonde almost light red. 'whiteish / gray' The more shades of blond are collectively known blonde 'ash' as.
You will need a friend to help
He / She can help to apply the product to the 'complicated' area ... and they also can let you know how it happens in bits you can not see. Moral support if you begin to falter after a pre-lightener has been on a good 30 minutes (no turning back now) and the hair began to change color 'carrot soup' nice, always nice to have!
