What Is the Right Size for You?

Breast enlargement is a serious thing to consider, in the life of anyone who is preparing to have their breasts cosmetically enhanced. The entire process is a long, slow period that begins with your research and ends with your new body.

Due to the risks and cost involved, consultation is a comprehensive procedure that will allow you to decide if surgery is what you really want. Once you have made your decision and chosen your doctor you are then ready to move onto the next step.

Deciding on the size of your new breasts might seem like a simple choice but actually there are a few things to consider before you make your mind up. Questions like what size bra do you hope to fill out, what shape breasts do you want or will this size suit your body type and shape?

Any good surgeon or clinic will have procedures that guide you through this sensitive process. They will ask you the questions you will need to think about and they will provide you with pre-consultation documentation and questionnaires that will help you start thinking about your breast enlargement seriously.

Many clinics will first assess you, to see if you are an appropriate candidate for breast enlargement. This is usually done via email using photos you have taken of your own breasts. You must then tell them what you would like to achieve by having cosmetic surgery. While they are assessing your situation, they will ask you explore your visual objective in the comfort of your own home. Imagining how big a 300CC or 400CC implant might look on your body is not something most of us could successfully achieve, so it is suggested that you experiment with physical representations of your desired implants.

Exploring your sizing options at home might go something like this:

You will need:

? A bra you plan to fill, after your surgery
? Measuring cup
? 1 kg uncooked rice
? A multi pack of nylon stockings
? Fill a measuring jug or cup with some rice. 350ml will roughly match a 350CC implant.
? Transfer the rice to a nylon stocking that has been snipped off just the ankle area.
? Tie a knot in the end to secure the rice.
? Make another 'rice bag' with the other bit of stocking.
? Put on your dream bra and fill each side with the rice bags.
? Wear these bags for a few hours each day.
? Experiment with different sizes and amounts.

The point of this exercise is to get you feeling confident about the size you want and how it might feel on your body. By filling a bra, temporarily, with these rice bags you will get to know how you might look with the size breasts you desire and you can even try on different clothes to make sure the size is right for the look you want.

When it comes to your consultation day, you will then be prepared to discuss with your doctor the size you want for your breast augmentation.
