What Is Volufiline?

In one's search for perfection, women most especially are susceptible to create an image which they think is the most acceptable. The image they created in their minds if achieved are set to bring a sense of confidence which they carry with them in their everyday dealings. These images may be aided or influenced by the media, by simple observation, or by an innate sense of improvement.

Because of this, it is not surprising that breast augmentation is a big business not only in this country but globally as well. Risky or not, most women are still clamoring to get in line at the doctor's clinic for a surgical procedure.

This should be ok except for the fact that breast augmentation which is done surgically has a long list of failures in its sleeves. There has been too many banned procedures, many lawsuits because of botched surgeries, and many unpleasant incidences like inflammation, infection and horror stories of things that gone wrong. Because of this, patients are asking if there is a product out there that is safe and effective.

Fortunately there is. It was just recently that Sederma introduced their new baby - Volufiline. So what is Volufiline?

Volufiline is a cosmetic substance or ingredient that is designed to give the breast enhancement and lift. It is a combination of a plant extract known as sarsasapogenin which is taken from the roots of Anemarrhenae asphodeloides (a known laxative used for making soaps) and hydrogenated polyisobutene which is an oil-based excipient. Together these two create a mechanism of action that targets the proliferation of the adipocytes and storage of lipids to the wanted areas.

To answer what is Volufiline all about is to give meaning to what it does. It does breast enhancement or augmentation in a process called lipo-filling or the ability to produce more adipose cells and store them in a targeted place which is in this case the breasts.

What is special about this substance is its non hormonal effect. This means that you don't have to worry about the side effects that can be brought by either estrogen or progesterone. The product is simply safe and very effective.

And the manufacturers mean business. To prove its efficacy, they have done clinical trials, both in vitro and in vivo to prove that the substance is effective.

In the in vitro trial the results were simply amazing. The adipocyte differentiations are up by +201% and the adipocyte proliferation by +32%.

The in vivo trials are not to be outshone. The results of the in vivo clinical trials are also impressive. The medical researchers have used a population of 30 women ages 18 to 35 who were asked to apply the skin emulsion with Volufiline to a single breast for about 56 days. They have to apply the product twice a day. After 56 days, the results were measured and it showed a difference of +8.4% as compared to the other breast that has not been applied with. These results are considered to be highly significant.

All of these data and information answered the above question - "what is Volufiline?" It is now up to you to try it for yourself and see personally if the product is really worth its noise.
