Create Your Own Dry Hair Conditioner at Home

Create Your Own Dry Hair Conditioner at Home - Dry hair doesn't look good, it doesn't feel good, and it can lead to further hair damage like split ends. A good dry hair conditioner can work wonders, restoring your hair to health in no time. Today's hair products have two problems, however. If products are affordable, they are usually filled with chemicals whose names you can't pronounce. If the products are natural, they are usually very expensive. One solution is to prepare your own hair care products at home. You control the ingredients and you make only as much as you need. Here are three recipes for hair care products straight from your kitchen shelf: Homemade Shampoo Baking soda is widely used as a base for shampoos. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a cup of water. Add a few drops of vinegar in the solution and a teaspoon or so of oil, like avocado or olive oil. This will clean your hair and function as a dry hair treatment at the same time. Homemade Conditioner For a good dry hair conditioner, take four tablespoons of olive oil and two tablespoons of honey. Add a few drops of lavender oil for a heavenly scent. Apply to your hair, leave in about 20 minutes, and then gently rinse. This homemade conditioner adds rich moisture to your hair in addition to vitamins and anti-oxidants that will protect your hair from further damage. Homemade Oil A homemade hot oil treatment can do wonders for your hair. You can easily make lavender oil at home. Cut off the lavender stem with your gardening shears. Keep it in an open space for ten to 12 days to dry the sprig. However, don't keep it in direct sunlight. A base oil is required to prepare lavender oil. You can use coconut oil or olive oil as a base. Heat one cup of base oil and put the dry lavender stem in it. Simmer it for 15 to 20 minutes. When the oil is cool enough to handle, massage a tablespoon or so through your hair. Wrap your hair in a towel for 20 to 30 minutes, then shampoo as normal. Save the remaining oil to use another time. Making your own dry hair conditioner and other hair care products is not only fun, but also better for your hair and better for the environment. Enjoy!
