How to make all natural Body Butters
Body butters are easy to make using 3-4 key ingredients. They do not require any special pots or containers and the ingredients are easy to find. They absorb quickly leaving your skin smooth, soft and hydrated. You can send them with your favorite perfume scent unscented or let them. Or you can get creative and essential oils that specific benefits such as Lavender for minor skin problems and to promote irritations or a citrus essential oil for those much needed energizer add in the morning. Body butters make wonderful inexpensive gifts for family, friends and colleagues. You can use the ingredients of your grocery store, on-line hobby shop or a hobby shop near you.
Ingredients:
3 ounces olive oil3 ounces butters (Shea, mango, cocoa, etc..)1 ounce bee's wax4 drops perfume oilThings you will need:
Stove or hot plate Small potJar or small glass container with lidMeasuring cupSpatulaWhiskInstructions:
Melt the oils and bees was in a small pot over low heat.Remove the melted oils from the stove and stir well to mix. The butters will start to turn opaque when they began to cool.At this point stir perfume oil and beat well to mix.Pour into jar or container, use the spatula to Scrape the sides of the pot and applying the lid.Note: The bee's wax acts as a preservative, but using a cosmetic spatula or Popsicle stick will keep your butter of becoming infected with germs from your fingers.
