Dying your hair black seems like a GREAT idea at the time, until you decide it makes your skin look pasty, or you have just become bored of your dark hue. Adding colour and bleaching to achieve blonde hair can be very difficult in black hair. But with patience it can be achieved.
Steps:
2-3 weeks prior to dying your hair blonde, use the anti-dandruff shampoo & conditioner daily as it helps strip color.
After 2-3 weeks, apply the hair stripper and follow the directions stated on the packet.- Your hair should have lightened considerably, and then it is safe to bleach. (It is a good idea to do a strand test if you are still nervous about how it will turn out).
Apply the bleach and wait approximately 30 minutes then wash out.
You should be blonde, however give your hair a break for about 1 week than re-attempt the bleach.
